Valid documents as Proof of Address (POA)

Accepted proofs of address and the basic requirements.

Updated over 3 months ago

Verifying your address protects your account and helps us meet AML/KYC rules. Send an official document that shows your full name, your full residential address (with postal/ZIP code), and a recent issue date. Our Compliance Team may request extra documents to complete the review.

What we accept

Provide one of the following, issued by a bank, utility, insurer, landlord/agent, or similar authority:

  • Bank statement

  • Utility bill (electricity, water, gas, internet, phone)

  • Credit card statement

  • Insurance policy/schedule

  • Lease/tenancy agreement

  • Mortgage statement

If you don’t have one of the above in your name, contact Support and we’ll advise acceptable alternatives.

Document requirements

To pass quickly, make sure your document:

  • Is dated within the last 90 days

  • Shows your full name and complete address (street, city, region, postal/ZIP code)

  • Displays the issuer’s name/logo and a clear issue date

  • Is complete and uncropped (full page, all edges visible)

  • Is sharp and readable, with no glare or blur

We accept clear photos, scans, or screenshots, as long as they meet the criteria above. Keep the entire document visible—don’t edit, crop, or obscure any part.

How to submit?

  1. Go to Settings → Verification → Address.

  2. Upload the document (photo, scan, or PDF).

  3. Submit and wait for confirmation in your account or email.

What happens next?

  • We check authenticity, readability, and that details match your account.

  • If anything is missing, we’ll ask for a new image or an additional document.

  • Your account stays protected while we finish the review.

Common issues and quick fixes

  • Too old → Use a document issued in the last 90 days.

  • Cropped/partial → Re-capture the entire page with all edges.

  • Blurry/dark → Retake in good light; avoid glare; clean your camera lens.

  • No issuer logo/date → Use an official statement or bill that shows both.

  • Invalid home address → We don't accept as valid Home address: PO Boxes, Mail address, or similars.

Privacy and security

We store verification data securely and use it only for compliance, fraud prevention, and account safety. We retain records as required by law.
